Are DuPage County Jail Mugshots Public Record?
Illinois law does not support a simple promise that every booking photo is automatically online. FOIA generally allows access to non-exempt public records, and 5 ILCS 140/2.15 requires law enforcement to furnish certain arrest-report information as soon as practical and no later than 72 hours after arrest, subject to exceptions. How Long a Mugshot Stays on the Roster

Federal and State Booking Photos
County jail booking photos, IDOC photos, and federal custody records are separate systems. If a person has moved from DuPage County jail to sentenced state custody, the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) individual in custody search is the state channel.
